Zip Tie Ring

Zip Tie Silver Ring

I think zip ties were some of the most useful things that have been invented in the world. And while the Zip Tie Ring is more of a fashion accessory than something that can be used to hold your stuff together or keep those loose wires in place, it’s still something that definitely ranks high in this geek’s book.

Of course, to actually use and wear a real zip tie on your finger is insane–and obviously uncomfortable. The Zip Tie Ring takes inspiration from a seemingly random and every day object to come up with this funky piece of jewelry, at par with the likes of the Bee USB Flash Drive Necklace or the Hex Wrench Pendant.

Fasten this zip tie ring to your finger and you’ll never want it to come off. Made of solid sterling silver, this unlikely piece of jewelry is cast from an actual zip tie. Cast via the lost wax method and hand finished in Florida by artist Jackie Kaufman.

  • Materials: sterling silver
  • available ring sizes: 6, 7, and 8
  • Polish with a soft cloth.

The Zip Tie Ring is available from Uncommon Goods for $65.
