Vinyl CDs

Pictures can be deceiving. If you took one look at the photo above, then you might think these are actually legit vinyl records, albeit with some pretty fake-looking labels. However, unlike the Real Vinyl Bowl and the Recycled Record Bookends, these Vinyl CDs aren’t really vinyl records; in fact, they’re just your regular, old compact discs.

In short, they’re just CDs, but with a really cool twist: they’re made to look like vinyl records (I think the photos have made that pretty clear.) These vinyl CDs come in sets of four and come in an aptly decorated record book. Each has a differently decorated and colored label.

Are you unable to part with your vinyl record collection because of it’s incalculable sentimental value? This pack of 4 vinyl CD’s looks like old 7” vinyl records: they even look like they have real grooves on the surface. But they’re actually recordable digital CD’s with a capacity for up to 700MB / 80 minutes.
The kit also includes some sleeves to store the vinyl CD’s in that look like old vinyl record covers, and each one is printed with vintage style stickers that read: “Record”, “Memories”, “Independent Studios”…

The Vinyl CDs are available from Curiosite and are priced at $15.02.
