But, did you know that it is WRONG?

It says: &quot;it’s all powered via the USB&quot;.
WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

Look at the picture.
The SECOND  one, the one that shows the back of the clock.
Down low, right in front of the right-hand port,
  you can just see the outline of the battery receptacle cover.
I know, because I&#039;ve got one of these.
The clock, alarm, &amp; thermometer are BATTERY powered.
It uses 2 SR44, or equivalent, batteries.
The red LED in-use indicator,
 &amp; the clock backlight ARE &quot;powered via the USB&quot;.

I like mine fine.  It shows the temperature, at my desk.
I got mine at Big Lots, where it was much cheaper.
I guess that&#039;s where the Discovery Channel unloaded their &quot;excess inventory&quot;.</description>
