Or…..you could hook up a dual cassette deck bought of Craigslist for $30 to your computer with an RCA-to-3.5mm adapter (RadioShack, $6) and use any recording software to record to .mp3: I recorded all my old tapes using GarageBand – plus it auto-imported them to iTunes when done. Shoot, you could even use a Sony Walkman and a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm cord (eBay has them for $3.50 or less and a Walkman is under $5 at the Goodwill).

    I’m just sayen’…..
