Three-Tier Hyakka Bento Lunchbox

Japanese Three-Tier Hyakka Bento Lunchbox

I think I’m turning Japanese I think I’m turning Japanese, I really think so. There are so many reasons to want to turn Japanese. Their cuisine rocks, styling and design are always clean, and when it comes to logistics, they’ve pretty much written the book. When you bring your lunch in the Three-Tier Hyakka Bento Lunchbox, you’ll incorporate a piece of Japanese culture into your everyday life.

The ABS plastic bento boxes stack on top of each other perfectly, allowing you to neatly separate your food. Each tier acts as an individual food container and comes with a lid that neatly seals food inside, since some of the most tasty things we eat for lunch are often leaky and saucy.  The decorative top bento box lid and the bottoms of the top two boxes therefore stay neat and tidy.

The red interior of the box makes food looks sexy and more delectable, while the striking red and white Japanese floral design against black on the exterior tower act as eye candy wherever the box is placed.

A couple drawbacks about the boxes are that they are not dishwasher or microwave safe, so they are best for cold lunch items, like salads, sandwiches, wraps, soba noodles or sushi.

The Three-Tier Hyakka Bento Lunchbox features:

  • Black, three-tier traditional design bento lunchbox
  • Comes with seal lid for ease of storage of food
  • Material: ABS
  • Capacity: about 760ml (25.7 fl oz) x 3
  • Size: 15cm x 15cm x 17cm (5.9″ x 5.9″ x 6.7″)
  • Do not microwave or wash in dishwasher
  • Made in Japan

If you want to take your Japanese dining experience to the next tier (haha), you’ll want to add some Samurai Chopsticks to the mix. Or if you’ve got an iPhone 4 and want to fully express your affection for Japanese food, the Japanese Food iPhone 4 Cases are for you.

The Three-Tier Hyakka Bento Lunchbox is $85 US at Japan Trend Shop. The items mentioned above are also available at Japan Trend Shop.
