Evoking the pinnacle of arcade gaming during the 1980s, this is the video game system with authentic controls, original arcade graphics, and 150 classic titles built-in to one convenient tabletop console. Hundreds of vintage games from Atari®, Midway®, and Namco® come to life on a 19″ flat-screen LCD that captures the vintage two-dimensional vector graphics and picture aspect ratio of Pac-Man®, Centipede®, Tempest®, Gauntlet®, and more.

The unit has an adjustable joystick that moves in four or eight directions, a 3″ trackball, and 11 large buttons, ensuring authentic arcade-style play and feel. It operates using an HP Slimline PC, allowing you to play any PC-based game on the arcade console itself; you can transfer and play digital music files (Windows XP supported) using the integrated jukebox software. The unit has authentic jukebox controls, two speakers and a subwoofer, and a lighted glass marquee. An interactive menu lets you customize volume and delete high scores. Plugs into AC. 24″ H x 22″ W x 24″ D. (65 lbs.)

This black stylish iPod amplifier/charger allows you to enjoy your playlists with the “warmth and richness only a vintage tube amplifier can provide”.

You’ll be amazed at how time-proven, pre-amp tube circuitry can reveal the subtle detail of brushes on a snare drum, or the sonic thunder of a Fender Precision Bass striking that low ‘E’ — as when the Funk Brothers’ James Jamerson sets the groove for Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard it Through the Grapevine”. Aural details that have been lost as MP3 files are compressed for storage and transmission, dramatically re-emerge through this 25 watts RMS per channel, all-tube pre-amp system.

Rugged steel chassis finished in gloss piano black includes massive power transformer, and 3 multi-plate vacuum tubes protected in a removable, ventilated cage. Optional stereo speakers in matching gloss black feature efficient ported Bass-Reflex design, 3/4” tweeters, and robust 4” woofers. Includes cradle inserts for all iPods (except Shuffle), 2 additional source inputs, S-video and RCA video outputs, 2 pair of gold-plated speaker terminals, and remote.

Here’s a cool way of adding a beautiful touch of retro to your modern day MP3 player life with a radio/speaker combo from UrbanOutfitters.

Attic can be used a standard AM/FM radio, or you can plug in your music player and use it as a speaker that is said to “produce the cleanest, most consistent sound of any radio on the market through the use of AroundSound(tm) technology, a design philosophy that eliminates “hot spots” in sound reproduction”.

The Attic radio’s “new-stalgic” look was inspired by both modern art -check out its gently rounded corners – and vintage radios – see the classic analog display and large knobs.

Assembling this radio is a fun project for radiomen, tinkers and gadget-buffs of all ages. Once your radio is up and running, hunting for radio transmissions becomes a fun challenge. While learning how the radio works, you will discover the fundamental parts of electrical circuits.

The radio is pre-wired for easy assembly. Users need only to plug in the various components, attach an antenna and a ground wire, and make tuning adjustments to get the radio working. The wooden base is beautifully finished with a polished cherry stain and golden labels for an authentic look. The vacuum tube glows with a soft orange glow when you are using it!

Instructions, experiments and additional configurations for the radio are described in the 32-page full-color experiment manual. A double triode allows for experiments with different circuits. Just switch the coils to tap into different wave bands: one coil for AM frequencies and one for shortwave.
