Boombox inspired dock for iPod and iPhones is nothing new. We have seen quite of few of them here at GeekAlerts, like the Lasonic i931, the Cardboard MP3 Boombox and the iPod Boombox with Radio, but never before this small.

These small USB 2.0 desktop speakers, measuring approximately 65 x 65 x 65mm, are designed to look like diamonds and connects to your iPod, iPhone, PDA or any other audio player using a standard 3.5mm stereo audio plug.

The San Francisco based company Jawbone has today announced the Jambox – a product described as “the world’s first intelligent wireless speaker and speakerphone”.
