Yong-Seong Kim has come up with this cool concept of a portable player that will work both as an MP3 and CD player.

The environmental friendly Solar Palm Radio with LED Torch ($16) measures 6.5 x 10.5 x 1.5 cm and lets you enjoy listening to radio from both the AM and FM band. You have three different sources of power to choose from: Solar Cell, Rechargeable built-in battery and/or one AAA battery.
The LED flashlight is located at the bottom of the portable radio.
The beautiful Lasonic i931 is a portable music system in true retro ghetto blaster style. It’s yet to be released and there is currently no word on pricing.

The slim CM-3204 USB Portable Skype is a handy little gadget allowing you to use Skype or other VoIP from various computers.
The 2-USB-Ports Multi-Solar Charger ($59) can charge two devices at the same and be recharged by sunlight. In case you happen to run out of sunlight there’s always the options to use AC or car power.
To fully recharge the device with sunlight will take about 5 to 8 hours, depending on the intensity of the light. The Multi-Solar Charger is also equipped with a bright white LED flashlight.

The Atari Flashback Portable isn’t out yet, it’s a prototype designed by Curt Vendel. The good news is that it will be out at one point or another - so it’s not one of those “cool, too bad it’s never going to be released” kind of things that you read about every day.
