The Silverlit toy manufacturer has now released a pink version of their mega popular Picoo Z remote-controlled 2 channel indoor micro helicopter.

Other than the color, the flying toy is exactly the same as the original Picoo Z helicopters. Here’s a video demonstration of the chopper in action:

The body is made out of durable EPP, but we’re sure, like driving, girls will make better flyers than us boys so it probably won’t be as good a feature. It takes about 20 minutes to charge and you should get 10 minutes flying time.

It wasn’t that long ago since three new PicooZ R/C Helicopters saw the light of day. Now yet another Silverlit micro chopper has been released.

Currently touted as the world’s smallest remote control chopper, this marvel of micro technology will flatter even the crummiest of pilots thanks to an auto stability system that makes woka-woka-ing around in tiddly rooms a doddle.

Just like its bigger PicoZ siblings, the twin-channel Extreme has a crash-resistant polypropylene foam body and features super-wide infra-red control, a built-in lithium polymer battery and adjustable trim control – all this yet it weighs just 7 grams. It really is squintingly small. As ever, the transmitter doubles up as a charger and a normal charge of 20-25 minutes should give flight times of up to 10 minutes.

Why it’s so small it even fits inside a built-in compartment in its transmitter/charging unit. This means you can carry the entire shebang in one hand. Amazing!

Picoo Z, the brand known for its tiny radio controlled indoor helicopters, has now updated their line of choppers with three new models.

Picoo Z Mini Micron (£30, about $59 USD)

Small just got a whole lot smaller with the PicooZ Mini Micron. No bigger than the length of a credit card the tiny remote control helicopter is even small enough to fit into a compartment under the remote!

It has super wide infrared control, a built-in Li-Poly battery, trim control and durable body. It is two channel helicopter which means you control the height with the left stick and direction with the right. Its design means that it is always flying forward. Also Known as the PicooZ MX-1 extreme, the miniature helicopter is easy to fly so is great for beginners and its size means it is suitable for small rooms.

A normal charge of 20-25 minutes should give you a flight time of around 10 minutes, and this is done directly from the remote control (requires 4xAA batteries).

Picoo Z Tandem Z (£30, about $79 USD)

The helicopter has super wide infrared control, a built-in Li-Poly battery, trim control and durable body. It has sophisticated gyroscopic effect for stability and twin rotor blades that work in Tandem. It also has a unique roto-blade system for steady take off and it’s a 3 channel helicopter (forwards, backwards, left, right, up and down).

A normal charge of 20-25 minutes should give you a flight time of around 10 minutes, and this is done directly from the remote control (requires 6xAA batteries).

The latest range from Silverlit is now with us and the range just keeps getting better and better. The 3 channel PicooZ, which is also known as the Uranus, Atlas and Tri-cooZ, gives you more control than its 2 channel predecessor. Where as before you could move up, down left and right, you also now control forward and backwards. This extra dimension gives the ability to hover which has been a frequent question from customers in our stores.
