British design, precision engineered and British built by hand. Defying gravity with the use of repelling magnetic forces in both the bed and base this contemporary lounger is comfortable, practical and stylish. Permanent magnets can also help back, muscular problems and headaches, so our furniture not only looks good – it may make you feel good too. The sensation that you feel as you lay back and close your eyes is totally different, like floating on a cloud.

Custom build options available. By default we supply Hoverit Lounges in clear acrylic which allows you to see every component. Each lounger comes with a clear anti-scratch mat and a limited edition certificate and serial number.

The Lounger chair from Hoverit Ltd. will be available from March 16. The price has been set to £5,875 (about $11,600 USD).

The Magnetix iCoaster takes construction toys to the next level by using the power of magnetism. It allows you to construct a magnetic roller coaster – complete with drops, loops and jumps.

The iCoaster combines speed, high-tech design, and magnetism into one package. As with all Magnetix toys, the basis of the iCoaster is magnetic power. The coaster’s “car” is a 15-millimeter metal ball — or “rider ball” — which is propelled along the track through magnetism.

Here’s a video demonstration of the Magnetix iCoaster:

Kids will be amazed as the rider ball seemingly levitates on the track of the coaster at high speeds, and they can construct the iCoaster in up to 10 different ways. Because it uses magnetism, the iCoaster is also capable of some jaw-dropping stunts. The ball will go through loop-de-loops, trampolines, sheer drops, and corkscrews. It will even “float” across broken areas in the track. Perhaps the most impressive feature is the “magnetic elevator,” which carries the ball up a shaft through magnetic power alone.

The iCoaster also comes with a Sound FX and Music Studio, which kids can use to put a soundtrack to their coaster. It features 4,000-plus distinct musical combinations, adding to the excitement with sound effects. The possibilities don’t stop there: Kids can also plug an MP3 player into the music studio and choose the perfect song for the coaster.

What’s in the Box

17 Magnetix iCoaster tracks

2 light-up sensors

6 stunt pieces

10 adjustable towers

10 15-millimeter magnetic metallic rider balls

Magnetic elevator

Sound FX Music Studio

We have already covered a couple of products like this – the Electromagnetic Earth Globe and the Illuminating Electromagnetic Earth Globe.

Unfortunately, there is not much information available about this levitating globe. We’ll just have to assume it uses electro magnets, as with the others.

Judging from the product photos, it looks like the chrome ball at top features a built-in standard magnet (see picture below) to make sure the globe doesn’t fall when you cut the power.

The blue and silver earth globe hovers in midair between a black stand and a lamp-looking curved chrome bar, with the magnet ball at the end.

It measures 7.05 x 2.32 x 7.68 inches and weighs 29.7 oz. The product comes with a 110V AC adapter and is available from DealExtreme for $37.

Finally, a way to assemble IKEA furniture without missing those last important screws (unless they have forgot to put them in the package of course).
Simply strap Magwear Magnetic Wristband ($18) onto your wrist and the powerful magnet under the tray will hold most hardware, tools and other metallic objects conveniently on your wrist.
