DVS450H is the name of this stylish upcoming DVD player from the South Korean LG Electronics company. It can be set up horizontally or vertically, or mounted on a wall.

The new LG DVD player has a HDMI connection that gives a full HD resolution of up to 1080p. An external hard drive or other devices can be connected via the USB port.

The DVS450H supports the following formats: DVD, CD, DivX, MP3, WMA and JPEG. In addition to these, it also supports the compressed DivX HD and Xvid-H formats.

The DVS450H is planned to be released in October 2008, according to the Swedish LG Electronics website. The suggested retail price is set to 1,499 SEK (about $238 USD).

Remember that cool looking Korean LED keyboard from Luxeed that we wrote about last year? The product, which previously was hard to get outside of Korea, is now available with worldwide shipping from the ThinkGeek website.

With 430 LEDs the Luxeed is capable of individually lighting each key in your choice of color. What’s more it can do some amazing tricks like an animated rainbow across all the keys, or make each key light when you press it. You get four “preset” buttons above the arrow keys you can use to instantly choose between different customizable lit skin presets.

The Korea-based Narae Inter company has recently launched a new product called Mepi – a portable digital photo frame, small enough to fit on a keychain.

The tiny photo frame comes with a slideshow feature and is capable of containing up to 180 photos, which easily can be downloaded via USB using the included photo management software. Mepi is available is silver or red.

The Mepi Mini Digital Photo Frame is priced at 27,000 KRW (about $27 USD).

ComFish is a cool looking USB aquarium measuring only 180 x 140 x 55 mm.

It features LED lights, water heater, and an oxygen pump – all powered via the USB port of your computer, and controllable using the included software.

The ComFish USB Mini Aquarium is available in red, blue, silver or gold and the product is sold Korea for about $50.

Here’s a pretty interesting Korean prototype for an ultra-mobile PC.

One thing that makes the Wibrain B1 UMPC quite unique is how the QWERTY keyboard has been divided into two parts, one on each side of the 4.8 inches large touchscreen.

The screen has a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and the device is equipped with Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi on 802.11b/g, quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and HSDPA.

This beautiful analog clock uses a cog to move the square clock face, delivered in both standard and roman style, around to display the current time.

The black body of the Tower Clock measures 17×6 cm and the clock face measures 11,5×11,5 cm. It uses one AA battery and retails for 15,800 South Korean won (about $17 USD) at the Earlyadopter’s World website.

This tiny playful iPod speaker is designed to look like the classic plastic building bricks from the Danish LEGO company.

Simply snap your iPod on top of the brick and let others enjoy the music you have on your portable player – assumably on quite a low volume.

Here’s an alternative to that other USB cassette deck we covered a couple of weeks ago. PlusDeckEX from the Korean BTO company is a follow-up to their PlusDeck 2c model – a cassette deck that lets you rip tracks from those old tapes and save them as MP3 files on your computer.

This stand-alone version version comes with RCA I/O, 7.1 support, a USB port, LCD control panel, AM/FM radio tuner, and a remote control.

No word on pricing or release date as of yet.

The Korean company Gidis has announced the launch of their MDrive – a waterproof USB memory drive available in 1GB and 2GB models.

The red on black memory sticks has been designed by Young-Se Kim of INNO Design. They will cost about $41 and $62 when they are out in the stores next month.

The Korean Digix company has released a series of ballpoint pens that comes with a built-in 1 GB USB memory drive. Simply remove the top cap to reveal the USB plug.

It uses a MLC (Multi Level Cell) flash memory technology that supports USB 2.0. The pen measures 15.5×1.4×1.3cm (6.1×0.5×0.5 inches) and is available following colors: black, blue, red, and silver.

No word on pricing so far.

A software that lets you customize the way the LEDs behave is also included. You can make the keys glow only when your hit them, create your own patterns, or simply set it to glow in one single color of your choice.
