According to the description for this eBay auction, a doctor in California took a 1973 GT Opel and converted it into a Batmobile to bring to the hospital for kids.

When his batmobile made the local newspaper, SONY decided to take the car one step further and outfit it with enough top of the line electronics to make the space shuttle look like a toy.

The hoverbaord from the movie “Back to the Future II” is like the Star Wars lightsabers in a way – it’s one of those props that you so much want(ed) to become reality one of these days.

Ok, so we’re not there yet. But you can place a bid at eBay on one of the hoverboards that was used during filming – there’s only one small catch, the expected sale price is $30,000-$50,000.

Of the two styles of props used in the film – styrofoam and wood – the styrofoam examples in collections today have not held up as well, given the more fragile nature of the material and the abuse they endured in production. Few wood examples have survived, and the collector who obtained this specimen from the prop master chose this for his personal collection as the premiere example of those preserved following the film. It is in used but outstanding condition, and is very rare in that it is entirely complete and intact.

Given the wood build and use of metal components, it looks and feels like a “real” prop. This piece has the complete fully functional and rear ballbearing-mounted footpad that rotates 360 degrees, as well as the bottom “magnet plates”. Of the two styles of stickers used for the effects, this prop has the “photoboard”-style sticker affixed. In addition, there is other textured styling and hand painting. This Hoverboard also features the hole in the top, representing where the handlebars were that “Marty” pulled off after borrowing the “toy” from the little girl in the film.

The original Batmobile from the 1989 Batman movie, staring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson, is now for sale at eBay. The starting bid is $500,000.

Five cars were built for the movie and this car is the number five car. Being that this car originally was owned by Warner Bros productions it is important to note that the buyer will have to sign a contract with them and some other legal items. The car is 20 feet long and 8 feet wide. The chassis is custom built and the motor is a Chevrolet 350. There an o doors on the door. To get in you have to be able to enter through the top where the canopy opens, just like in the movie.

This impressive steampunk Darth Vader helmet, now up for sale at eBay, has been created by modifying an old mask that was bought at Disney World.

This vader mask was sitting on my shelf for about 14 years. It was originally purchased for me on my first trip to Disney World. Rather than get rid of it, I decided to have a little fun with it. I was inspired by some art from the Vader Project, and some other cool steampunk Star Wars stuff I found online.

The current bid for the Steampunk Darth Vader Mask is $31.
