The domed head rotates with any vocal command you issue and he utters his familiar “bleeps” from the Star Wars movies. His radar eye houses the eyepiece to a built-in periscope that provides an intimate view of the aquatic activity below, allowing you to watch your charges swim towards the food you’ve dropped in from the dome’s removable feeding door.

Includes filter and overhead LED tank lights that randomly morph between red, blue, and green (lights can be disabled). Includes a two-sided waterproofed cardboard insert depicting scenes from the movie as a background.

The R2-D2 Aquarium plugs into AC and measures 30(H) x 16(W) x 16(L) inches. The product is available from the Hammacher Schlemmer website for $129.95

You get a two-droid set, R2-D2 and his red doppleganger R2-D1. Each features a flip-up head to reveal a speaker. Plug the stereo headphone style plug into your PC, iPod or spare Wookie for some droid-based sound. We won’t kid you, these speakers are not powered so their volume is limited by whatever audio input you give them. But don’t you want to help out a droid who’s down on his luck?

Features

Mini Speakers look like R2-D2 and R2-D1

Imported from Japan

Officially Licensed Star Wars Product

Detailed construction with movable arms and foot

Standard stereo headphone jack connector

Speakers are not powered, they run off the power of whatever audio source you give them
