Wrex The Dawg, WowWee’s cool robot junkyard dog (previously featured here at GeekAlerts), has finally popped up in online stores in the USA for ordering.

Amazon.com has it available for about $140. Hammacher Schlemmer has it with an expected ship date of 9/26/2008 and a price of $130. Buy.com has a free shipping offer, but lists it as “Temporarily Out Of Stock” at a price of $150.

The Japanese company Marubeni InfoTech has released a beautiful line of wooden USB drives that looks like animals – kind of like a playful version of those “realistic” looking Animal USB Drives that we saw earlier this year.

These drives features a 1GB storage capacity and there are five animals to choose from: dog, pig, elephant, hippopotamus and sawn – each available in maple or walnut.

The Wooden Animal USB Drives are available for 7,980 Japanese yen (about $73 USD) a pop from the Marubeni InfoTech website (the page is in Japanese).

I don’t know if this cloth lint remover is meant to be fun and cute. If that is the idea, then I would have to say that the design team has failed big time.

This series of cute and colorful USB drives from the Japanese Solid Alliance website are made of silicone and shaped like dog bones. They would actually go quite well together with the Bone Wrist Support.

You simply open one end of the bone to gain access to the USB stick, then you can plug it into your commuter and transfer files back and forth.

The USB Dog Tag comes with a built-in 512MB memory and is available in five different colors. The price is set to 2 980 yen (about $25 USD).

There’s something about dogs and wrist support products. This is actually the third one we cover in a short period of time – first out was the Bone Wrist Support, then the Doggy Ergonomic Armwrist, and now this one that doubles as a keyboard cleaner.
