Pure, the company that has brought us the Marshall DAB Digital Radio and many other digital audio broadcasting devices, has now released their Pure One Mini – a portable radio measuring only 130 x 135 x 60mm.

Small and light, ONE Mini is an ideal travelling companion giving up to 20 hours portable listening when fitted with the optional rechargeable ChargePAK®.

Despite its compact dimensions, ONE Mini has been engineered to provide suprisingly punchy audio quality and volume. We’ve also worked hard to make it intuitive to use with simple controls and easy access to features.

ONE Mini also offers FM reception, an input so you can plug in your iPod and use ONE Mini as a portable speaker, up to 16 presets, a headphone socket and a USB socket for future upgrades.

The Pure One Mini is now available in the UK for £40 (about $79 USD). There are three colors to choose from: black, white or pink.

The U.K. based Intempo company has launched the iDAB, a device that allows you to listen to DAB digital radio on your iPod.

The 40mm square iDAB is compatible with all iPods, except the Shuffle, and connects into the base of your portable player.

The side buttons lets you play, search and scroll stations. Track titles, current radio station and other info is displayed on the LCD screen.

According to Pocket-lint, the iDAB will be available in colors to match the latest range of iPods and will retail for £59.99 (about $126) when it hit the stores this December.

Roberts Radio will release a beautiful brushed stainless steel version of their 50s style Revival DAB radio within the next couple of weeks.

It’s got all the latest DAB technology, like song information displayed on the LCD screen and the PausePlus – a feature allowing you to put radio stations on hold for up to 40 minutes, depending on the station you are listening to.

The Revival DAB Stainless Steel Edition will cost £200 (around $400 USD).

The UK consumer electronics company Pure Digital has announced a new and improved version of their Chronos alarm clock.

The Chronos II DAB and FM radio features a large, clear display with an automatic light sensor, independent alarm sound and volume settings, and RDS functionality for the FM part of the radio.

Chronos II will be available in two different colors and cost £69.99 (about $141 USD) when it hits the shops at the end of October.

Bush has announced a new DAB/FM radio that will be available for around $90. It’s called TR04DABBLK and features a glossy piano black finish and a classic 1950s Bush logo.

DAB/FM radio with a touch-sensitive control panel, with a two-line LCD display for showing scrolling song titles, artists and other information. You can store ten DAB and ten FM stations, or flick through all available stations alphabetically.

The radio goes on sale this month in ASDA, and will cost just £44.93.
