The Dutch designer Daan Van Tulder has come up with a chess game that allows you to play in the dark. The light is created by a LED situated in each corner of the chess board.

A difficult goal to stand out from the rest, as there are so many different chess games. Therefore I made use of light provided by LED’s. The players are able to play in the dark, which gives the game a whole new dimension. The different pieces are given its characteristics by minimal adjustments of the basic shape.
