Craftster member fluffypants from Ontario, Canada has put together this fun and cool looking lamp using a Nintendo zapper and a Duck Hunt cartridge.

A regular cartridge was too small a base, so I measured one and made a 1.5 scale replica out of cardboard, and screwed the gun to it. I weighted it with stones, and then tackled the shade.

I picked up a $2 shade at the re-store, a pack of fun foam, and voila! After hours and hours of cutting pixellated shapes, I was done! A little dab of glue to secure the shade, and… ta dah!

Remember the cool geeky Super Mario / Duck Hunt Cartridge Clock from the Etsy GeekGear Store that we covered last week? Now Joe has already managed to put together a worthy follow-up.

The Nintendo Tetris Cartridge Clock ($18) features black hands and a quartz motor. The clock is manufactured from an original 1985 Tetris NES cartridge, mounted to a recycled acrylic stand. Size: 5 1/4 inches high by 4 1/2 wide.

It was only a couple of days ago that the gorgeous Computer Cat Wall Clock by Joe at the GeekGear Store saw the light of day, and now yet another geek theme clock has been added to his Etsy shop.
