Kyoto USB duck is a handmade USB memory made of Genuine Chirimen material. Chirimen is a traditional Japanese heavy crepe cloth for kimono.

The Kyoto USB Duck is available from the Geek Stuff 4 U website for ¥ 7,980 YEN (about $83 USD) for the 2GB model. They also offer a frog version of this storage device.

Okko is the name of this fun digital alarm clock from the UK based Habitat company. The white LED clock features a bird on top that will sing and “dance” to get you out of bed.

This seems to be the day of mini gadgets – first the Solar Mini Clip Fan, then the USB Mini Gamepad, and now this cute little USB mini penguin speaker.

The actual speaker is located at the back of the flightless bird and you can connect it to MP3 and CD players, PDAs and other digital products using a standard 3.5mm stereo audio plug.

You have probably read about this cute little robot from Sega Toys. The fuzzy chick has been featured at many sites, but it has been quite hard to actually order one. But now you can get the Robotic Chicken from Brando for $26.90.

Robotic Chicken by SegaToys is a lifelike motorized baby chicken that cries and flaps its little whirring wings like an actual chick. Featuring a life size chick running on batteries. When being held, the little chick will flap its little wings. Pad on its head or back and the chick will chirp happily.

Maybe it’s due to the fact of the success with the “March of the Penguins” film that makes people think that anything goes as long as we thrown in a penguin or two.

The Japanese toy company Takara Tomy has now released a new product called Umine – a small projector to help you relax by displaying various images of nature onto your ceiling or wall.

Umine projects images of beach scenes, waterscapes and forest along with sounds of twittering birds, waves and other relaxing mood-setters. The 3.5mm stereo jack lets you plug in an iPod or other audio device.

The 150 x 200 x 150mm small projector weighs 600 grams, costs arount $70 and is currently only available in Japan.
