Star Wars Darth Vader Mythos Polystone Statue

Darth Vader Mythos Polystone Statue

Does a dark lord of the Sith feel doubt or regret? If so, the Star Wars Darth Vader Mythos Polystone Statue reveals what it’s like for a fallen Jedi to question the dark path he’s taken.

Standing 21-inches-tall, this highly detailed, limited edition, Mythos figure provides a peek at the man who used to be Anakin Skywalker as he stands in the flaming environment of the volcanic planet, Mustafar, where he faced defeat at the hands of his former teacher, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The statue includes three different heads for the body, including Hayden Christensen and Sebastian Shaw as Anakin Skywalker, and one with the Vader mask locked firmly in place. There are also interchangeable right hands, with one holding a lightsaber, one holding Vader’s helmet, and one with the hand clenched in a fist.

While this is supposedly a look at Vader between the first and second trilogies of the Star Wars saga, it looks like the Dark Lord has had a rough time lately because of the damage that’s evident on his cloak and armor. Still, we all know any doubt he fills will be squashed out by his rage as destiny hurtles him towards a confrontation with his son.

The Darth Vader Mythos Polystone Statue will be available in September 2013 but you can pre-order it now for $349.99 at Sideshow Collectibles.

You can also expand your Mythos collection with the Star Wars Darth Maul Mythos Statue and the Ben Kenobi Mythos Polystone Statue.
