The Star Wars Battling Fighters Set is a slot car set that re-creates the Death Star “Trench Run” from the final moments of Star Wars: Episode IV. Oh yes. This is awesome.
One driver pilots Luke Skywalker’s “Red Five” X-Wing and another is chasing in Darth Vader’s TIE fighter. The ships are slightly wider than the track, so it will take real skill to maneuver. LEDs in the ships light up when racing and the 12-foot figure-eight track features glow-in the-dark striping for nighttime runs.
