Sony HMZT1 Personal 3D Viewer

Video glasses are not new. We’ve covered many video glasses over the years, and even gave away of pair of Vuzix Wrap 310XL Eyewear a few weeks ago. However, technology marches on, and these new Sony HMZT1 Personal 3D Viewers are the best, though most expensive, ones we’ve covered thus far.

One of the key features that make these Sony HMZ-T1 video glasses so incredible is the dual OLED high definition displays that make it appear like you are watching a huge 150″ display from 12 feet away. OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) displays feature improved response time, brightness, contrast, and viewing angles compared to LCD technology. They also are lightweight, flexible, and power efficient, which are all important features for a compact wearable viewer.

Sound is also an integral part of video games and movies, and that’s where the other key feature of these Sony HMZ-T1 video glasses comes in. They have virtual 5.1 surround sound headphones built-in. Between the simulated movie theater surround sound and the dazzling HD displays, this device delivers incredibly immersive experience in either 2D and 3D.
