First, it works reasonably well for that purpose, however it is shakey when you accelerate. The 2GB card only records about 30 minutes, tops. If you don't shut it off before the memory is used up it will delete the last video, regardless of length. The power seems to be suffecient to record for at least an hour if you had a 4GB or 8GB. Overall, it works well but it is a little tricky to turn switches on and off doing 70mph on a bike.
