Rubik’s Cube Subwoofer from Elac

Rubik's Cube Subwoofer from Elac

Just like the Teddy Bear USB Drive, it now looks as if the cool DIY Rubik’s Cube Subwoofer idea from last year also has been picked up by a company.

The 4.7kg heavy MicroSub 2010 BT from Elac has four amplifiers and it’s completely vibration free. According to Shiny Shiny, it uses Bluetooth to stream music from any enabled device. Alternatively, you can connect it directly using an RC jack.

There is no info on pricing or availability yet. But, as Pocket-lint points out; it will most likely be quite expensive, considering the standard black or white MicroSub model will set you back around $1,800 USD.

  1. What a nice subwoofer. Love to have one if but the price it too high. May be I’ll create a custom rubik’s cube style woofer on my own. It’s far more cheaper! 😉

  2. Mm, same here Ken. It would look so good in my living room. 🙂

Yes, maybe the “DIY Rubik’s Cube Subwoofer” link above can be a good source of inspiration for creating one.

Thank you all for stopping by!
