RipRoar Video Creation Station

RipRoar Creation Station

The RipRoar kit from ToyQuest allows kids to easily produce their own short movies and then uploaded the clips automatically to YouTube.

The RipRoar Creation Station ($100) features a full resolution camera with a mountable green screen, tripod, integrated software and a bonus content CD.

Kids simply record themselves or their friends in front of the green screen and effortlessly produce their own short movie by replacing the green with any background, cutting and pasting video and images, and adding animation and/or music.

I second that MAC thing, that would be cool, I have yet to find a device that could not be ported to the MAC, I have been testing the interface but no success so far, I believe it is possible to record using a quicktime (modified plugin) and will actively investigate an alternative method of connecting to a MAC, just get the word out to the MAC geeks, and someone will find a way,

    Challenge the geeks

So far your correct, I looked at the hardware version and it the hardware is, Hercules Blog Webcam

    Version: 1.00
    Bus Power (mA): 500
    Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec
    Manufacturer: Hercules Blog Webcam
    Product ID: 0×28cf
    Serial Number: Creation Station
    Vendor ID: 0×05a9

The problem is not with the hardware its the software interface,

given the proper interface it can be done.

Daren, we don’t sell or manufacture products at GeekAlerts. Maybe you should try contacting the retailer (link included in the article above) with your questions about the “RipRoar Video Creation Station”.
