Random Bookcase

Random Bookcase

At a young age, we’ve all been taught that order was good and that being neat was what we were supposed to be. But it’s fun to break the rules sometimes, specially if it looks as good and, ironically, orderly as the Random Bookcase.

If you look more closely, you’ll actually see that there isn’t a whole lot of disorderliness going on in this bookcase, but more like an arranged randomness, if that makes any sense. Either way, I think it’s a pretty cool piece of furniture to add to your living room or den to spice things up a bit.

Random Bookcase

A bookcase made of LG HI-Macs, in thickness 6 mm, mass-pigmented in Alpine White. Standard compartments. The shelves are fit into the backs through concealed dovetail slots. The technical specs of the resin compound makes the back superfluous. The peculiar features of the material and the finishing hide the coupling between back and shelf. By flanking more units, you can create largesized confi gurations. Adjustable feet to 15 mm. The most advanced production process ensures the highest quality of the surface and high technical performance.

Being random, however, costs quite a lot, with the Random Bookcase carrying a price tag of £1,629.00 ($2,675.) It’s available from Made in Design and is a work of art by MDF Italia.
