OUYA: A New Kind of Video Game Console

If you love video games, but hate the high cost associated with them and gaming consoles, then you’re going to love this new KickStarter project. OUYA: A New Kind of Video Game Console, is an open gaming console concept that will work with your HD TV. It is built on open source Andriod technology that will allow developers to have access to OUYA’s open design so they can produce games and publish their Android apps to OUYA on the condition that at least some gameplay has to be free.

As the below stats and above video shows, OUYA will be powerful and offer a world-class controller, console, and interface in an inexpensive package.

We borrowed the free-to-play model from games like League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, Triple Town, and many others. Developers can offer a free demo with a full-game upgrade, in-game items or powers, or ask you to subscribe.
