Are you getting sick of that boring doorbell chime? Well, Swann has a simple and fun fix to that problem. The MP3 DJ Doorbell is a customizable wireless doorbell that stores (via removable SD card) and plays music when the doorbell is pressed.

The package includes a speaker unit and a push button doorbell unit that have a modern white, high gloss design that will fit into any home or office. Set up is quick and easy; simply use the included double sided adhesive to attach the push button doorbell to your front door and either mount or place the speaker unit in a central location in your home. There are no wires to install and both units are battery powered. When the button pressed, the doorbell will send wireless signal (up to 165’) to the speaker and begin playing your favorite music.

  1. I am not sure that it is a good idea to integrate a door bell with MP3 player. How to distinguish if it is a guest at the door or just my favorite song played? Also a few minutes long song – even the best – seems to be terrible as a door chime. It should be a few seconds long, not minutes! One other weak point is the speaker. It is much too small and its volume is woefully inadequate. So, in my humble opinion it is and totally unnecessary device. By the way, I have nothing against MP3 doorbells. I have one of them in my house, bought from kakadu-usa.com. It is much better and and I can definitely recommend it.
