Mordicus Crocodile Bread Knife

Mordicus Crocodile Bread Knife

Bread knives are essential in the kitchen. Beyond slicing through bread like buttah, they also make cutting roast beef, tomatoes, and cake a piece of… pie. But how often do you see artisan bread knife handles designed as a smiley crocodile? Introducing the snappiest bread knife there is: the Mordicus Crocodile Bread Knife.

Mordicus – Crocodile Bread Knife

  • Bread knife shaped like a green crocodile
  • Hand painted handle
  • Size: 12-1/2″ x 1″ x 3/4″ (32 cm x 2.5 cm x 2 cm)
  • Design: François Meignan

Crocodile Bread Knife

More than just bearing nice artwork on the handle, the knife’s serrated blade takes on the shape of Mordicus’s sharp spine when turned upside-down. The blade also ends at a point just like a croc’s tail and the middle shows off his little feet. Your other bread knives are destined for the swamps after Mordicus takes over.

It’s not easy to fall in love with crocodiles in the wild (unless you’re the next Steve Irwin – Crocodile Hunter). There’s not much to love about Crocs shoes, either. But when you have a crocodile-shaped bread knife and a delicious loaf of bread, it’s all good in the hood.

The Mordicus Crocodile Bread Knife is $29.95 at Neatoshop.

One Response to “Mordicus Crocodile Bread Knife”

  1. I wonder how good an idea it is to have a knife desinged to stand sharp edge up. Seems a little dangerous.
