MDrive – Waterproof USB Drive

MDrive

Maybe you prefer taking your files underwater instead of having them hanging around your neck on dry land. No problem.

The Korean company Gidis has announced the launch of their MDrive – a waterproof USB memory drive available in 1GB and 2GB models.

The red on black memory sticks has been designed by Young-Se Kim of INNO Design. They will cost about $41 and $62 when they are out in the stores next month.

  1. Kingmax make the same thing but much cheaper. I have had my 1GB Kingmax Pro for 2yr. Fast rate and I just pop it into my wallet. It has never a slipped out.

  2. Why you ask, well anyone that works outside and has the drive hooked to a key fob on their belt and it starts to rain. What about fishermen, pool service techs, and don’t forget killer whale trainers and bikers. I operate a TV camera and just this last weekend I was on an outdoor shoot and it started pouring rain. I had to keep shooting. The first thought that crossed my mind was my data and was it safe.
