School is in session for the original students of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters with the Marvel Classic Characters Original X-Men Statues.
For those who are only familiar with the original X-Men through the movies, I regret to inform you the roster won’t match up with what the big screen has taught you. Instead, hook up with the classic characters in modern times with the All-New X-Men comic book series.
The statues might look a little banged-up but that’s because they’re made syroco-style, which basically means they look like they’re made of molded wood pulp. It’s a look that’s probably not for everybody but the style does have its fans.
Each statue, which comes with its own tin box packaging, along with a pin-back button and character booklet, is limited to 950 numbered pieces, and each character has a different release date so availability will probably be different for each statue.
The Marvel Classic Characters Original X-Men Statues are available for $44.95 each at TFAW.com. At this time, you can choose from Cyclops, Angel, and Marvel Girl.
