Film buffs and Marilyn Monroe fans will be thrilled with this little piece of geek goodness. The Marilyn Monroe Pocket Movie Theater is a handheld movie viewer that plays a scene of the blonde bombshell singing from “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.” Unfortunately, the player doesn’t have sound so you won’t actually get to hear her sing, but it’s still pretty cool, especially when you consider that this is actual film being used in the player. That’s right. No digital tech going on here. You’re working it old-school style.

The player is about 2-inches tall and runs off one AA battery. Controls are minimalistic, with a power button, a focus control, and frame adjustment being the only things to work with. Just hold the player up towards a light source, press the power button, and watch Marilyn do her thing.
