With The Avengers movie tearing up the box office, related merchandise is very popular. We’ve already posted many cool items, such as the Hawkeye Nerf Bow, Hulk Cologne, and Movie Cardboard Standups. Last week we showed you all the LEGO Avengers Sets currently available, and today we take a closer look at one of these in this LEGO Loki’s Cosmic Cube Escape Review. This $20 set has 181 pieces, features an off-road vehicle, and includes 3 minifigures.
One of the coolest things about GeekAlerts is when companies send us stuff to review, especially when it is cool stuff like brand new LEGO sets. This LEGO set #6867, Loki’s Cosmic Cube Escape, matches the quality that’s expected from LEGO. Every piece is solidly molded in great detail, everything snaps together firmly, the instructions are complete and easy to follow, none of the pieces were missing, etc. Once built everything looks just like in the pictures. (These are the official photos, as my pictures just weren’t nearly as nice.)
What makes Loki’s Cosmic Cube Escape really cool is all the features included. The main item you build, the off-road vehicle, is awesome because it features really huge wheels compared to typical LEGO cars and trucks. This makes it easy to roll around and drive over obstacles. It also has two “flick-fire” missiles for action-packed fun. This set also comes with three minifigures: Iron Man, Loki and Hawkeye. In all, it is a very nice set for 20 bucks, and comes with plenty of things to keep a child (or Avengers geek) busy.
