As CES 2012 in Las Vegas winds down, there are still many cool gadgets to cover. iConnectivity, an innovative developer of hardware accessories and applications for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, just unveiled their latest musical device, iConnectMUSE. The iConnectMUSE is a mini digital audio mixer for musicians looking to add an element of control to their designs through the use of iOS or computer software.

With the ability to maintain outstanding sound quality and to convert studio-quality analog audio to digital, this palm-sized personal mini-mixer combines music accessories into one iOS controlled device. The compact size is portable and perfect for road trips or playing at home.

The iConnectMUSE features six stereo inputs and six stereo outputs, hub-able USB Host Port, two USB device ports, two input and two output ¼” audio port jacks, a headphone monitor jack, Ethernet connection for network sharing, a MIDI pass-thru interface and limited DSP processing.

“iConnecMUSE is the future of audio mixing,” said Michael Loh, CEO of iConnectivity. “Its portability, expandability and enhanced functionality through software integration provides the conduit for music creativity for all musicians.”

Look for the iConnectMUSE to be available Q2 of 2012 at leading retailers like Amazon.com with a retail price of $229.99 (MSRP.)

  1. The Iconnect will not be the future of audio connectivity, because it lacks XLR inputs and Phantom power. There is no talk about Bitrate, and why would you put a quater inch jack for the headphones.
