Handcrafted Wooden USB Drives

Handcrafted Wooden USB Drives

These beautiful wooden USB flash drives have been created by the German craftsman Markus Bischof of Thalbach Design Manufaktur.

They are made from extremely old wood and veneers and there are several colors to chose from. Prices range from $70 (1GB) to $140 (4GB).

Depending on the material used, each stick means about 2-3 hours of precise craftsmanship which makes every stick unique at a very high and detailed quality level. They’re not just clued together like Chinese-ware, but are milled, sanded and oiled to a perfect surface – 51 working steps needed to the final stick. If you calculate the material, the chip, the working time, then the sticks are pretty low priced.

Check them out over at the Thalbach Design Manufacturing webiste.
