Grove SkateCase for iPhone 5: Upcycled & Stylishly Brilliant

Grove SkateCase

A while back, Grove released some colorful backplates for iPhones. They looked pretty cool, but I’ve always wanted to buy a complete case that looked like this. Finally, Grove, in collaboration with MapleXO, has released their SkateCase.

The SkateCase is made from recycled skateboard materials, directly in Grove’s workshop in Portland, Oregon. Each case is hand-sanded and rubbed with citrus oil to enhance its unique combination of colors. The cases are milled and finished by hand. The mechanism snaps on, and there’s even a wooden top button cover, to complete the case.

You can get your SkateCase directly from Grove for $149. No two are alike, so you’ll be sure to look unique and fashionable when you’re out and about.
