Double Vintage Charging Dock for iPhone

Double Vintage Charging Dock for iPhone

I love it when a part of the old world fuses somehow with new technology, like this Double Vintage Charging Dock for iPhone for example.

The Double Vintage Charging Dock for iPhone charges up your device but is actually made from two classic books from the McFadden English Series. As you can see, the books are old, but the technology is new. The fun thing is that you can just prop the charger on your desk and people will think you’re the bookish type, when in fact, it’s just there to charge up your Apple smartphone.

Green on green, this vintage double book charging dock supports your iPhone and iPod in style. Both the top book from 1925 and the bottom book from 1912 show some weathering, and the McFadden English Series has nicks and marks to the cover. The light green band on the bottom book frames the top book’s dark green band, these two are so perfectly in synch.

It looks like a mild-mannered stack of books on a table or a desk, you almost don’t notice that it’s a charger. No more dropping the cord behind the desk! The charging cord is well secured into the book, and it’s designed to be compatible with iPods and iPhones.

The Double Vintage Charging Dock for iPhone is available from Inbook’s Etsy Shop for $50.

Other quirky iPhone docks that are worth checking out are the Trumstand iPhone Dock and the Wooden iPhone and iPad Docking Station.
