Doctor Who – The Day of the Doctor War Doctor Sonic Screwdriver

Doctor Who The War Doctor Sonic Screwdriver

He’s the Doctor who doesn’t deserve the name; the Time Lord that despises what he did to end the Time War, and you can be just like him with the Doctor Who The Day of the Doctor War Doctor Sonic Screwdriver.

Did you watch “The Day of the Doctor,” the 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who? If your answer is no, slap yourself for taking so long to get around to it and go watch it.

John Hurt’s War Doctor was a battle-weary incarnation of the Doctor, and he was dressed for business. Even when he wasn’t using his sonic screwdriver, it was visible at it lay tucked in the bandolier across his chest. It was obvious he wanted to keep it in an easy to reach spot.

This version of the Doctor’s iconic tool isn’t as flashy as the one wielded by Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor but it should still be an essential part of any Whovian’s collection because of how rare it is. Unless Steven Moffat pulls some timey-wimey stuff, we’ve probably seen the last of John Hurt’s War Doctor.
