Cell Phone Watch by LG
Last week we wrote about this cell phone watch, and now LG Electronics has displayed their ‘Watch Phone’ concept during the Mobile World Congress 2008.
According to Aving, it “supports voice recognition function by adopting Bluetooth, enabling users to make a phone call or send a text message without keypad”. Here’s a video of LG’s watch phone concept:

This is a truly exceptional piece of engineering and in addition, it looks great as well. The trouble to date with these combination watches is their size, but in this case LG seem to have solved this. I am slightly dubious around the voice recognition function given these historically have performed poorly but until this model is widely available we shall have to just wait and see…
