CC Observer Solar Radio

CC Observer Solar Radio

It’s all about being online these days, but a bad storm can send you back to the Stone Age if you’re not prepared. The CC Observer Solar Radio lets you stay informed and up-to-date with current news, even when the power’s out.

If you’re a fan of AM radio, you probably have to deal with a weak signal that comes and goes, but the Observer is designed to give clear AM reception, as well as FM and Weather Band. It also provides plenty of ways to charge it up. When all is right with the world, you can just use the UL-listed charging adapter or slip in three AA batteries. If the power goes out or you decide to listen to some tunes while on a camping trip, you can either let radio charge up with the sun by using the solar panel on top or crank the handle for ten minutes to generate an hour of radio play.

You can even use the radio as a cellphone charger, with provided adapters fitting Moto V3 (Mini-B USB), Samsung N630, Nokia 2.0mm, LG KG90, and iPod. And don’t forget about the built-in LED flashlight if the lights go out, because the dark can be a scary place.
