How many different versions of the Dark Knight have there been? Enough to create the Batman 75th Anniversary Set 2 Action Figure 4-Pack.
The Bat-party began with the Batman 75th Anniversary Set 1 Action Figure 4-Pack, featuring four different version of the Caped Crusader, including his purple-gloved first appearance. Set 2 brings things full circle with a collection that includes Batman’s bulky, angry look after coming out of retirement in The Dark Knight Returns.
The complete set includes:
- Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller
- Justice by Alex Ross Batman
- Designer Series Greg Capullo Batman
- Super Friends Batman
Figures range from 6 1/2 to 7 1/2-inches tall and come in a cool-looking collector’s tin. Unfortunately, the above image isn’t finalized so the figures are subject to change, although I hope the current line-up remains the same because it’s a well-rounded collection.
The Batman 75th Anniversary Set 2 Action Figure 4-Pack will be available November 2014 but it can be pre-ordered now for $64.99 at Entertainment Earth.
