Back to the Future DeLorean External Hard Drive

Are you telling me that you built a hard drive… out of a DeLorean? Well, maybe it’s not that radical because this was never a real car but the Back to the Future DeLorean External Hard Drive is still pretty impressive to look at.

If you’re a fan of BTTF and think a replica of Marty McFly’s ride would be a great way to house an external hard drive, then this highly-detailed work of art is the time machine you’re looking for.

The 1:18 scale, stainless steel body features a hood and gull-wing doors that open, along with a 750GB hard drive and high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity.

In addition to the ‘Red Wheel’ version, there’s also a ‘Train Wheel’ edition that features a train track base for the car to set on.

Back to the Future DeLorean External Hard Drive Train Wheel EditionThe Back to the Future Red Wheel DeLorean External Hard Drive is available for $385 and the Back to the Future Train Wheel DeLorean External Hard Drive is available for $340 at FlashRods.

If you really want to keep the time-travel theme going strong on your computer desk, you could use the DeLorean with the Doctor Who TARDIS PC. How’s that for a mash-up everyone would love to see?
