Even though many of us loved the show and it was critically acclaimed, it’s ratings were never good enough, so it lasted just a short three seasons. Luckily, Netflix is bringing it back with 10 new episodes that will become available exclusively to Netflix subscribers in 2013.
Every fan of the show remembers the banana stand, but if you haven’t seen the show in a while you might not remember the second episode, “Top Banana.” In it, when George Sr. says “There’s always money in the banana stand,” he was saying that there was literally money in the banana stand. As in $250,000 in cash hidden in the walls. Too bad Michael Bluth didn’t realize that’s what he meant before he allowed his son, George Michael, burn it down.
