You might have already seen another version of these Portal Bookends somewhere else when they made waves earlier this week. The friend of the maker posted a couple of photos of a metal version of these quirky bookends in Reddit. Of course, the one those guys made weren’t for sale, so it’s up to the folks over at Etsy and the Oberson Woodcraft Enrichment Center to tickle our fancies by bringing these nifty bookends to life commercially.
And in wood, no less.
The folks over at Geeky Gadgets reported this awesome find and pegged the price of these bookends at $20. (Worth every buck, in my opinion.)
However, it looks like the product page for the Portal Bookends is still down for the moment. But make sure to check back a day or two later. Maybe then, they’ll decide to make an appearance.
