I’ve searched for years for a giant dark chocolate decorated hollow Easter egg – preferably one with a partial opening in the top half to stuff hollow chocolate bunnies into the hollow egg. This is as close as I’ve seen. Every year I ask our local chocolatiers if I can order 3 in advance of Easter, giving plenty of time. I search online and find nothing. When I was a child, such Easter eggs were common. Many were dark chocolate decorated with ribbons of milk chocolate and filled with more chocolate goodies.
