The complete title of this book was a bit too long for the page title. It is How to Archer: The Ultimate Guide to Espionage and Style and Women and Also Cocktails Ever Written. If you’ve seen the animated comedy TV series Archer on FX, then you know who Sterling Archer is and the type of humor you can expect from this book. You’ve probably also seen commercials for this book, unless you skip over them with your DVR. In short, Sterling Archer loves women, alcohol, lacrosse, and spy gadgets and is a suave, successful secret agent and selfish, idiotic alcoholic at the same time.
I had never heard of the TV show before when I happened to come across this book about a month ago while browsing highly rated books on Amazon.com. Even some of the reviews on Amazon were hilarious, so I began watching the show. Now I’m hooked. If you just can’t get enough Archer, get this book to help tide you over until Season 4 comes out.
