Holy one-point-twenty-one gigawatts! What the hell is a gigawatt? This Delorean DMC-12 V4.0 Custom Lego Set may not have any gigawatts of power and won’t reach 88mph, but it does have a flux capacitor.

Our DeLorean V2.1 was by far our most popular and highly praised item we have ever offered. But we decided it was time for something new, something sleeker and better built. Our Version 4.0 retains the same smooth hover-mode wheel system that made V2.1 so popular, however it is now wrapped up in a stronger frame while also allowing a lower height to more accurately match the real DeLorean DMC-12.

More time was spent designing the folding wheels assembly than everything else put together. These wheels simply don’t just flip down underneath the car – they extend out, flip down and then are pushed up into the wheel cavity in one smooth motion. Once you are finished flying, you can simply push the wheels back into position and start driving on solid ground – the wheel assembly is designed to automatically “lock” into position to prevent any jamming or slipping. You will receive ALL of the 287 BRAND-NEW parts needed, carefully packaged in resealable polybags. These parts are all brand-new official LEGO elements.

They didn’t spare any details. The flying Delorean time machine from “Back to the Future” has been replicated in the form of Legos, and custom-built to make Doc Brown mighty proud. Ichiban Toys’ latest version of the DMC-12 mimics the key features of the one seen on the big screen, including gull-wing doors, retractable wheels, and a conducting rod. The manufacturers also beautifully captured the look of the rectangular headlights in front and the big cubalicious twin exhausts in back. You can almost see vapors coming out in every direction.
