Lightcast

Lightcast ($97) is a little toy that will create a light show for your home when listening to music. You can connect it to iPod/mp3 players, your CD player, the stereo, a computer or instruments.

33 LED lights, placed in a mirror parabola, blink and pulsate light out and up through a lens or mirror that then reflect it back into the parabola and out again.

Lightcast has 4 settings for whatever musical genre or mood you wish to visualise with a lightshow.
“Smooth” is for classical, ambient and lounge music, “Flow” is for jazz, blues, country and folk while “Vibe” is perfect for rock’n’roll, hiphop, funk and disco and finally “Pulse” for techno, house or trance.
