Gadget.brando.com.hk has added yet another gadget to their growing line of environmental friendly products that requires no batteries whatsoever.

The Key Ring Solar 2-LED ($9) flashlight is available in green or red, measures 6.8 x 3.8 x 1.4 cm (2.7 x 1.5 x 0.4 inches) and is powered – yes, you guessed it – by solar energy.

    Why’d you need a light on a key chain if the solar power used for charging it will provide you with light?

    I guess the idea is to charge it while there’s light and use it when it’s dark.

    Not a real bright light, but these can be useful in times of need.
    Some of the new cell phones are sporting an led light
    at the top end of the phone.
